In Honour of Mr Super
These tourism awards were inspired by and named in honour of the legendary Lake Victoria tour guide, Mr Superius Kalemera, fondly known to all as Mr Super.
Mr Super was a kind, wise man of great character, who dedicated his life to sharing his knowledge of the people, history, culture, natural beauty and extraordinary wildlife of the Lake Victoria region – his ancestral homeland.
Through these awards, Mr Super’s legacy lives on, celebrating those who follow in his footsteps, delivering excellence in tourism services within Tanzania and across Africa.
The inaugural Super Kalemera Tourism Awards were presented at a special gala dinner on 8th July 2023
